It's nice to meet you!
Inge Development is a small innovative team of interdisciplinary professionals focused on testing practical ideas that help communities grow. We support local governments, First Nations, and regional partners to pilot new approaches in real settings. Learning from what works and adapting as we go.
Our projects explore how economic, social, and human development connect on the ground. Whether through entrepreneurship, education, or collaboration, we aim to create space for people to try ideas that build local capacity and opportunity.

Youth Programs
For the past three summers, Inge Development has joined the youth of Lax Kw’alaams for up to two weeks of hands-on programming an ongoing adventure of learning, creativity, and community.
Each year builds on the last, with activities that build on the curiosity and questions of the youth and young entrepreneurs of the community. From Trapeze and Food Stalls to CPR and Food Safe we are incredibly proud of the youth for all they’ve achieved over the past three years both in and outside of this program.
2023
We hosted our first Youth Week in Northern BC for Lax Kw’alaams. This was an amazing week full of paddle boarding, teen dinners, skill building, and leadership opportunities on the water.
2024
Youth Week expanded to both Lax Kw’alaams and Prince Rupert. In this year we were able to work with several small businesses, bring critical first aid training from BCEHS directly to youth, develop career skills, and launch a college in a day collaboration with Coast Mountain College.
2025
Youth Weeks became one interconnected Youth Summit. With transportation connecting youth to attend activities in both directions.
Youth from Lax Kw’alaams and Prince had access to Food Entrepreneurship, Food Safe, Employment Readiness, and Employer Relationship Building.
